So what do you do when the super bowl lands on fast Sunday? The kids say no lesson and it is time for football! Ok, that was Lance, but I am sure they were with him in saying it. I made Chicken & dumplings and we had a ton of junk food. I played with the girls most of the night so I did not watch to much of the game. Kylie and Dawson were at his brothers house but Kylie came by for a few minutes in the 2nd half.
Sarah is walking behind the stroller now, and Little miss Elsie loves to climb the slide. she is getting so brave!

Elder Scott Hampton
Scott finally sent us so video and pictures. He is very proud of one video Facebook worthy he said.
He is currently in down town San Antoni, the mission president wants the m to concentrate on the in actives, but while they are doing this the in actives keep giving them names to teach!
We also taught a less active family a couple times, mostly their kids because it became really evident that they knew none of the basic principles of the gospel. Really funny times when they say ridiculous answers that are completely wrong, but also pretty sad because they haven't gone to church in so long that they don't know anything. My favorite one was we asked what Jesus Christ did besides die for us and the nine year old boy said "uh... he ate the apple!" No.... that was Adam. Super funny though.
He has a new companion now, Elder Cuesta Spanish is his first language so that's gonna really help me a whole bunch. He also sings like a boss, so maybe he'll teach me how to sing like a real man. Also I've been trying to perfect my piano skills and slash or learn how to play bass clef over again. Probably going to make some flash cards today. I'll be pro when I get home.
I love and miss that kid!

Mike's birthday
I am sitting here thinking of all of Mike's past birthdays, He is 27 today. He is my perfectionist and my most competitive child. Mike was walking by 9 months, and so active. If Jeff was learning something Mike had to earn it also. He was teaching himself cursive in 1st grade due to this. Mike was always very active in sports growing up. he played soccer until he fell in love with football. But he also was a star player in basketball and baseball. Mike was always quiet and sorta shy, and he hated to be the center of attention unless it was playing sports. One of my favorite memories of MIke was in high school and up till left on his mission, he would always give me a hug and put his arm around me. I am sure this was just attempt to get pizza or ice cream.
Now he is married to a wonderful young woman, and the father to pur Miss Elsie and little baby boy to be Jacob. Happy Birthday Mike We love you!
I wish I had his pictures on digital he had so many cute pictures.

We love ya Dawson, and we are so glad you are part of our family!
JAN FHE
With the holidays and Mike and Brooke going to Mesa, we did not have FHE till Jan 15th. Kylie and Dawson did not come till after dinner due to the NFl playoffs. But everyone was there for dinner. We had Tacos and rice and homemade salsa. For the lesson we watched the movie 17 Miracles. I love how the movie makes us appreciate our ancestors and their dedication to their faith. Our great great great great grandmother Ann Jewel Rowley was such a awesome example to us. Elsie and Sarah were very active during the movie, but they kept us entertained.
Ice fishing
Lance has gone Ice fishing several times this year. He has told me that videos and pictures were taken of these times but I have only received 2 pictures.
These are on two different days. He went to Rockport the most, with trips to Strawberry and Utah Lake. He did say he usually caught the most fish every time.
